N.C. Zoo Introduced New, Updated Web Site
ASHEBORO - The North Carolina Zoological Park's Web site has a new look, featuring more "user friendly" links and general information to help visitors plan their visits right from their home computers.
The new site will be constantly updated to give visitors the newest zoo information on everything from directions to the zoo to entrance fees to restaurant menus.
The Web site address, www.nczoo.org, will remain the same. Like the old site, the new site will contain links to the zoo's "Red Wolves of Alligator River" and "Elephants of Cameroon" Web pages.
A special-events link will let visitors know dates and times to plan visits to coincide with the events. There will also be information for group visits and other topics.
The zoo is located six miles southeast of Asheboro on N.C. Route 159 (Zoo Parkway) and is an agency of the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
